Using proven laser technology, the Velform Laser pulses a beam of light at a wavelength of exactly 808 nanometers, designed to work only on the hair without damaging the skin. The beam of light safely penetrates the epidermis to strike the hair follicle, deactivating growth without the pain of other hair removal methods. The hair then falls out naturally from the inactive hair follicle and over time, reproduces finer hair. After just a few more treatments, the hair won't grow back at all!

Who can use it?
Cannot be used on Grey Hair
Will not be effective on Afro/Caribbean skin (level of melamine is too high and so won't absorb laser)
Can be used on light brown to white skin. Different levels will need to be applied depending on your skin type (all in the manual)
How it works
Melamine in the skin absorbs the laser causing the hair follicle to heat up and die. The papillae (cells responsible for hair growth) are then destroyed.
Hair growth goes through active and degradation phases. The laser will only be effective on hair in the active phase.
3% to 4% of body hair is always in the degradation phase which lasts for between 10 to 20 days. This is why a number of treatments carried out over the course of up to 6 months is required.
Preparation
An epicutaneous test must be carried out before the first treatment. This is a test on the the different levels of intensity to confirm which level is most suitable to the customers skin type.
It's recommended that hair is between 1 and 3mm long. The treatment area needs to be moistened before use.
Treatment area may redden slightly after use but this should disappear quite quickly.
Safety
The unit comes with a code to activate it and keys that need to be used to switch the unit on.
